Default shift linkage bushings

I have a quick question for ya. I just picked up a set of ES poly shifter stabilizer bushings. Is there a trick to installing the one near the center of the car. whats the best way to get it over the flange at the end of the stabilizer shaft? thanx in advance. And i have searched with no luck about instalation.

for hydro tranny shifting.
what kind of shifting bushings are u talking about ? cause there are like several bushings to the shift linkage such as two bushings that hold the shifter to the chassis (number 10 shown in the pic below) and two bushings and few o rings to hold the shifter to the shifting rod. if you would have to tear up shifter, you will need to get some spare time and a lot of patient.

here is a pic of how shifter works

Are you installing the one by the transmission or at the shifter its self?

Either way this link should help you.

Boy you 2 can't read very well. When u get the ES bushings as he's stated he has, there are only 2 two replace. He means the one on the end of the stabilizer bar.

Basically just shove it on. It's not really hard. You can get it on from under the car as well. Should only take 15-30 min to finish everything.

The exhaust may get in the way a little, but you can still get your hands in there.

thanx malakai. and sorry for confusing you guys. but thanx for the quick replies. but as malakai stated they are the 2 that go on each end of the shifter stabilizer. I was thinking just shove em on, but i noticed how much harder the polys are than rubbers. i guess with a little time grease and patience ill get it done. o by the way its on 00 si. O and im doing this to help out with a small amount of play in my shifter ( has a short shifter) will replacing the bitch pin help out with this too?
