Default tranny and clutch

what is the difference between the two. im just a newbie and i want to know because when i shift gears its too stiff to put it in from 1st to 2nd and so on

the tranny is is the part with all the gears and stuff in it, it transfers the motors power to the wheels. THe clutch is the part that connects the motor and tranny together, wen you push down the clutch peddel it cause the clutch to disconnect the motor from the tranny so you can switch gears.
Is the clutch hard to push in or the shifter hard to move
Question do you have a short throw shifter
