Ok guys im new so spare me if its in the wrong place or if im asking it the wrong way!!!!!
Im frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!
HEre i go .... I have a p06 auto , i converted it to 5 speed and i installed the Vtec conversion from Xenocron!!!! Car starts up fine , drives fine , but Vtec does not ENGAGE!!!!!!
ive gone over the install like 7 times eve compared it to another ecu that had been converted and i cant fin reason y its not working!!!

Does your check engine light turn on at any point ?
If so, what code is thrown & when (after vtec engagement point)?
Have you tried another ecu in the vehicle to eliminate the motor/oil pressure/wiring ?
If you suspect the issue is the vtec conversion components, you should contact xenocron.

well im my Check light is one cause my iac is messed up ( long story) ... The car runs fine with my stock p72 .... SO thats y im a bit confused!!!!!!!!!
have you checked the DTCodes with your P06 installed and running?
What software are you using to configure the base maps on your P06. Crome/Uber/neptune. Can you Verify what RPM you have your VTEC enabled?

OK i just calleed XENOCRAP I meen Xenocron!!! The guy was a bit of a Ahole!!!!
i ran the codes and it gace me 14(iac) and 21( vtec spool soleniod)... SO i tell him and and his answer was " WELL YOU INSTALLED SOMETHING WRONG".. He told me check q26 and c60 to make sure they were correct and then when i said yes , I told him if i can email him a pic of the components installed (ecu) and He said you can if you whant but thier NO WAY TO KNOW WHATS WRONG UNLESS YOU START UNDOING THEM ONE BY ONE , and to top t off he state " well you probably over heated the board"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if your getting code 21 lets start there. That is showing that your ECu is trying to find the VTEC Solenoid. And if your so certain that you didn't overheat the board here is some VTEC troubleshooting for you.
1. Ensure ignition is turned off
2. Disconnect the VTEC solenoid connector and check for continuity between VTEC solenoid (Solenoid Side not harness side) and body ground.
- Is there 14-30 Ohms?
1. No - Replace the VTEC solenoid
2. Yes - Check for continuity between the VTEC solenoid (harness side) and ECU Pin A4 . If you take your readings from the board side of the ECU connector it will tell you if there is an open in the wire including the harness connector.
- Is there continuity
1. No - Repair the open between the ECU pin A4 and VTEC solenoid.
2. Yes - Check for continuity between the VTEC solenoid (harness side) and body ground.
- Is there continuity
1. Yes - then repair the short in the wire between the ECU and VTEC solenoid
2. No - Start checking that you soldered the VTEC components in properly because it's an ECU problem.

please ignore my ignorance, I just read that post too
Have someone take a look at your ECU and do a continuity test on the new parts that you added.
Are there are any light green, yellow or brown spots on your board near any of the parts that you soldered on?

Wow....even when you spend the time to help someone out on the phone, they still cus you out. What can you do...
I'll even still attempt to help...
Since your ECU is auto...you can try desoldering one of the other Si5151 switches and replacing the NEW component that comes in our kits...in case you overheated it or for the first time in 4000 pieces sold you received a faulty component.
If that doesnt fix your problem, then you might need to order another Q26 transistor...and try replacing that next.
I know no one ever thinks that THEY could have done anything wrong when playing with electrical components...but guess what, 100% of the time I am sorry to say it comes down to user inexperience. Even with the right tools, and the wrong attitude, many things can go wrong...you just have to get over yourself and figure out how to fix the problem instead of attempting to unfairly take the blame off of yourself.

1st , IM NOT TRYING TO TAKE THE BLAME OFF MYSELF !!! YES it can be that I overheated the board like you said 4,000 sold someone had to BURN ONE!!!
Im pissed for numerous reasons .. When we spoke ( if I spoke to you or someone else in your Company) You could have been a bit more helpfull , but you CLEARLY STATED that their was no point in me sending pictures and that their was NOTHING COULD DO !!! You could have given the above suggestion when we spoke but you chose not to!
2nd I have emailed you guys more than 2 times and IM STILL WAITING on a repsonse.. I originaly thought i was missing some capicitors and chip but then I read what I PURCHASED and noticed it was a mistake on my part(considering I Stated i needed to chip my ecu , but that a enitre diff issue) , and worte back to you guys but STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK.........So YES IM UMPSET, Im sure you could have handled the situation different but YOU CHOSE NOT TO ..

Well..."Xenocrap"
How am I supposed to respond to that...gimme a break.
You were frustrated on the phone (yes you spoke to me) and you clearly took things differently than I was trying to help you out with. Your "spin" on our convo is mind blowing...
And you are not the 1st person to potentially overheat a component...I have certainly done it myself...and I do the exact same thing I told you to do on the phone. Replace IC14 with another component...and RETEST. If that doesnt work, replace Q26...and RETEST
When you originally called you told me you werent even throwing a code for VTEC until I explained to you how to check to see if you were actually throwing a code for VTEC (21).
Troubleshooting is a process, we need to work together if you want me to help you fix the issues. You cannot go slandering my name, and spouting publically false statements and expect me to just not care...I cannot handle the situation any differently except to give you the information I did, which apparently wasnt what you wanted to hear.
If you emailed...you havent emailed ME.

well Question , i just read of a PGMFI thread someone with a similar problem http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtop...i5151 (thats the link) so i checked some other sites and ere is wat i have so far,, I got with my Convertion kit A b1030 ar and from what i have read im suppose to install a D1423... is that right ???
im just trying to get to the bottom of this !!!!!
1720 kits, Q26 is a D1423
11F0 kits, Q101 is a SB1030
From your pictures you have a 1720 Board, so you should have ordered the 1720 Kit and be installing a D1423 in spot Q26
I just looked up your order in the system...you ordered an 11F0 kit and followed the wrong set of directions apparently, there is your problem
You need to order this item and install it in Q26...
