b16 block question
hello fellas...im kinda a newb (as my name states) i bought a b16 block and am storing it in my garage...the outside of the sleeves have developed some surface rust.

should i not store it in my garage? it is kinda damp in there...

boring it out will make it run high compresion which will push that engine a littl too far its already on high rpms i say find a way to clean it out and try putting it out of the garage with a nylon cover on it should be pretty good.
Honing will for sure take surface rust away. Just keep it covered.
