b16 block question
hello fellas...im kinda a newb (as my name states) i bought a b16 block and am storing it in my garage...the outside of the sleeves have developed some surface rust.
my question is will the bore-ing and sriking take car of that?
should i not store it in my garage? it is kinda damp in there...
any kind words of advice will be appreciated.

boring it out will make it run high compresion which will push that engine a littl too far its already on high rpms i say find a way to clean it out and try putting it out of the garage with a nylon cover on it should be pretty good.

Honing will for sure take surface rust away. Just keep it covered.
