Intake vacuum line and plug question
Hi, my wife's car was recently hit and since then the idle has been acting up. The engine is throwing a code for bad IACV, I'm going to take care of that.
But while I was nosing around in the engine bay, I noticed some stuff by the stock intake.
- First, there's an opening on the stock intake where it looks like a vacuum line used to be.
- Second, there is a plug just hanging there, not connected to anything.
Can anyone identify what these 2 items should connect to?

Thanks!

The hose on the plastic intake piping attaches to a rubber hose from the valve cover. It is part of the PCV system. The plug is either the intake temp sensor (as mentioned above) or the MAP sensor. I'm familiar only with my GSR and that plug on my car is the MAP sensor. There should be a matching clip nearby and if it plugs in, its the correct one. Look around a little bit and you'll find it.
