Gas pedal getting stuck haha

Default Gas pedal getting stuck haha

So today and before my gas pedal gets stuck when i push it to the floor i dunno if its because the floormat or not, but what else would make it stick?

that remninds me of my first integra make sure nothing is catching it from the floor carpet, i got this car from some kid with race pedal covers well they used drywall screws and when i floored the pedal it get stuck to the floor...hahaha

Check for recalls. I remember reading on a recall website something about a recall because of that exact issue. I believe it was on 96-97 Civics but I am not positive of the years.

if it was torn the throttle would stay shut

Checked all throttle cable seems fine same with body hmmm.

A service guy at the dealership once told me that there is a design fault with the throttle cable and that it would wear at the bend in the engine bay and can get corroded in there and gets stuck. That rubber boot on the cable by the TB can get shredded as well, and cause proplems.
