The jdm zc sohc (d15b) has like 3-5 more hp than the usdm d16z6. It comes from the bump in the c/r. Thats the only diff i believe. Not too mention everyone thats always asking what water pump do i get for my d15b and all the other q's along with d15b's like that.

Im happy with my z6, and if your wanting just a temp replacement, it would be cheaper.

yea, i just want to fix it and drive it. i blew it up and bought a newer hatch but now im in school and if it wasnt for my car payment on the car i absolutely hate (lol) i could pay for school out of my pocket. so basically im trying to avoid as much problems as possible by finding something to just drop in. but no one sells a USDM z6. and i would rather not have a junk yard motor. what a predicament.

yea the Jdm soch vtec ZC motor is actually a 1.6 and not the same as the d15b, it is identical to the z6 usdm motor.

Im sure you could run your P28. Not sure on the sensors since its a JDM motor. I have a JDM type R and it has less things than the USDM version does.

Yes it is, every d-series tranny is swappable with no modifications

The zc vtec is basically a z6. The p28 and trans will work without issues.

yeah, pretty much, the only difference I can think of is the ZC doesn't have a purge solenoid on the back of the intake manifold, you can either swap your old D16Z6 manifold on (its 100% identical otherwise) or add the purge solenoid to the back of the intake manifold.

ZC SOHC VTEC engines have P28 stamped all over the parts- intake mani, pistons, etc.

I'm not sure about cam profile, but everything else is identical to D16Z6.

The jdm zc sohc (d15b) has like 3-5 more hp than the usdm d16z6. It comes from the bump in the c/r. Thats the only diff i believe. Not too mention everyone thats always asking what water pump do i get for my d15b and all the other q's along with d15b's like that.
Why even post when you can't even comprehend what the original question is?
