Eibach Pro Kit - wierd noise
We just installed some eibach springs on my wife's 07 SI sedan. Now I'm getting a vibration/noise that's easiest heard at 30-40mph. It's almost as if a tire had a flat spot or a bump on it. It goes away(or you cant hear it anymore) once you get over 50.
Any ideas what it could be? We only have 10K on the car.
Thanks

Not yet. Somewhere I read it is good to give the springs a week to settle before you have it aligned. Is that right?

I was wondering if you had a bad or out of balance tire and dropped it on some stiffer springs could it bring out noise you never noticed before with the softer stock suspension?

They will not settle. Go ahead and align. Check tire pressure while you are at it.

No.
Align it immediately.
The springs won't "settle." If you didn't tighten the suspension bolts under load, however, the bushings will deform and tear as time passes, causing the car to sit lower.

I got the alignment done. The noise turned out to be a bad tire. Has anyone else had a problem like that on Michelin Pilot's?
Anyway, I love the Eibach springs. As far as drive ability goes they're perfect. I wouldn't want to drop a DD any lower. If anyone's interested I'll get the car cleaned up this weekend and post some pics.
Thanks for all your input.
