i need some tips from you guys for better 60' time. i'm running on 205/50/15 falken azenis at 22psi at the track. i have a CM stage III so its no problem launching hard. today the best i could do was a 2.3 so obviously i need a little help.

 

2.3 huh? sounds like your dumpin the clutch, fleathering the clutch always works wonders for me(2.1 w/ shitty 185/60/14). remember DO NOT DUMP THE CLUTCH!!!!! HTH any

 

huh?? i dump the clutch all the time..doing 5k drops and i net 2.3 60fts all day on shitty 190/60/15s good year all season pos tires, and a stock clutch.

 

well there you go 2.3 60'. I'm sure if you didnt dump it you could improve your 60'. like I said im my other post I get 2.1 with tires smaller than your.

ask any racer any real racer...........nevermind.

 

get some slicks are run 1.8 60 foots, cheapest way out. You would gain a 1/2 second in the first 60 feet!

no money for slicks right now, just need help getting better with what i have.

 

Slicks and suspension set-up have allowed me to pull 1.8 60's in my 4dr accord.

 

Don't forget that LSD is your friend too... mmmm....

Definately feather the clutch...I was able to get a 2.2 on my 13'' vx wheels w/bald stock tires

Must feather the clutch just below the vtec activation point and practice makes perfect.
