Default Missing the Si...

So I've been in a RSX-S for the last few months since I totalled the Si. I gotta say I am missing it bad. The RSX with Cable throttle is nice, and its a quieter ride... but man.... the Si was just so much more fun to drive.

I'm wondering how much of a loss I would take getting back into a Si, probably a used 06 model. I owe less than 10k on this 2002 Type-S. 53k miles.

Should I consider getting another Si or should I wait for the next redesign in a little over a year? I also keep hoping for a shimmer of hope for the Type-R here, I love that car, but I won't hold my breath for it.

If you miss it that bad, go back to it man. You'll regret it if you don't. And, if you happen to like the redesign of the civic more than the 8th gens, than you can trade the 8th gen in for an awesome down payment, because these cars hold their value so well.

Eh trading up from the previous generation usually takes a bigger loss than skipping a gen. The only reason I'm considering trading or selling the RSX is because it still has really low miles and its in good condition.

Its because you bought an 02 rsx vs the 05-06

Totally different vehicles driving wise IMO.

I dont miss my Si at all, I like blending into the millions of other sheep on the road (not having cars try to race me), filling up at the pump with the cheap price & parking at the closest spots not caring if someone swings a door into my car, next to nothing insurance wise & a warranty.

its extremely refreshing...

Thanks X.

So as I was saying. I'm trying to find one in the local areas (NM, OK, LA, TX) for under 20k that will take a trade on my 2002 RSX-S. If anyone knows anyone or sees one please let me know!

Definately want a sedan, planning on doing some front and rear CSX or Type-R conversions.
