I dont care for either. The new Si has a 160hp engine and 132lb-ft of torque but also weighs 2700 some lbs and I dont care for the styling. For what the RSX cost and the performance it gives..its not worth it IMO.

This is my opinion.

New Si sucks. RSX sucks UNLESS it is the Type-S, then it is pretty damn good.

If I were you, I would keep the Si right now, and then LATER get a Type-S. There aren't very many of the 99-00 Si's around and they aren't going to be making more of that exact style. But they ARE going to be making more Type-S's. You've got yourself a *relatively* rare car right now.

No Type S? Then get the Si for sure. My opinion.

I've driven a RSX Type S, and it didn't seem to impressive to me. The new Si's looks kind of like a Ford Focuz. If I were you, I would save up a couple more grands, and get a WRX.

get a used hb and swap out the engine. when you think about it, your going to spend the money on a new car thats going to cost like 20K+ with 20,000 you can have a badass coupe or hatchback and beat your new car. 20000 with body work engine work and all that good stuff. i'd rather go used, at least til i have a family and then im not going to worry much about cars. MAYBE :

Man, save till 2003, and get a new Evo 7 or 8. F*uck the WRX. I sure wouldn't want to drive that ugly thing. It may be fast, but it is too damn ugly! Plus, Mitsu engines aren't all that hard to work on, their layout is just like a honda. THe WRX engine bay looks like a mess.

I think the WRX looks pretty damn good. Especially the tailights, the only thing I have a problem is, is the head lights. Then again, owning an EVII, would be pretty bad ***.

Dont listen to any of the *******'s that say they are ugly etc etc. Remember when the 6g civics came out, everyone was like ooohhhh they're ugly. Now everyone loves them. Its just natural for people to say that ****. People WILL get pissed when the aftermarket gets ahold of some serious power makers for either of the cars. Then people are gonna say, "uh, well, you spent all that money and its only slightly faster than my car" yeah, his car he has owned for 4 years dumped all kinds of money into and it still looks the same. I say F it, go for either. If it was me I would either get the Civic Si ( i'm a biased civic owner) or ONLY the RSX-S. My brother has the rsx-s and I think its cool as ****, cant wait for real performance parts to come out for it.
DOnt get a WRX, they are **** and ugly, kinda fast though. Thing is if you wanna go faster, its E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E period. Y pipes ran over a grand. The brakes and driveline suck donkey too. IMO, the WRX is just like the current EVO thats here---the car makers skimped out, just wanted to make the people screaming for those cars to be happy. Then they underpower and dont give the same parts as their original county of origin. Just like our hondas......oh well

Look at this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=79083

Check out the information on the Evo VII that is there, and you may well decide that even though it may look like a "sporty friggin mirage family sedan", it will STILL chew the *** of most everything ON the road and almost EVERYTHING OFF the road.
