Will a 02+ defogger switch fit on a 01?

Will a 02+ defogger switch fit on a 01?
Will a switch made for 02+ fit on my 2001 model......it has a sealed cap to where the switch is for the 02+ models but mine is jus sealed.....will a regular oem 02+ switch fit on my 2001 year?

If im not mistaken the defogger switch in an 02 s2000 is on the dash next to the steering wheel hub.
The defogger switch in an 00 - 01 gets mounted to the sof top button in the center console, but they do have the same dash, so theirs no reason why it won't fit.
