I have done a search and can't find anything. But I am trying to figure out what wires go to the thermostat sensor. I had to get a plug for it since there was no plug in it's place. And now I am tyring to figure out what wires hook up to it. Please if anyone has any information of what color these wires are. Or where I can look to find the information I need to get this resolved. Thanks in advance if there is anyone that can help me out.

 

Are you referring to the fan switch on the thermostat housing? For what engine? Just from reading your signature if you put the D16Z6 in the CRX you will need to extend the wires from the fan switch that were on the back of the block from your old engine to the thermostat housing switch.

 

the cooling fan switch on the OBD0 engine on the back of the black has a 2-wire connector with a big round black rubber boot - the wire colors are black and yellow/green - doesn't matter which wire goes where in the connector - it is just a switch

 

Yes it is on a d15z6. And thanks I am about to go out side and check it out I have to wire up a new 4 wire o2 sensor and the v tec sensor. The guy who I got the car from didn't really take the time and do the job right when he chnaged the engine out I am trying to clean up his mess with this car. Thanks again for the input.

 

Is it a D15B VTEC or a D16Z6, or maybe a D15Z1? I have not heard of a D15Z6. Just curious.

 

I got the car with the engine in it. From what I understand it is the d15z6. The guy called it the mini me converson. I am not to sure I know the the block is stamped d15.
