Well, I don't post much here but I've been a member for quite some times. Anyway, I just picked up my 3rd CRX, another Y-49 for $400. The timing belt slipped so I'm in the progress on replacing it, OEM belt, water pump and tensioner are on the way.

The car has a few goodies, like a DC Sports 4-2-1 header and a full Greddy SP2 catback on it, a new dizzy and a new MC in it and the biggest advantage is that it only has one rust spot on the left rear, other than that, the shell is clean as hell, a lot better than the current one.

I'm not going crazy with the car, need to de-rice it a bit with the yellow wiper and the gauges on the A-pillar. My plan on the car is to make it a bit competitive in STS2, so I'm looking for some parts as well.

You sure are an optimisitc son of a gun if out of all the good things you mention on the car the rust spot is your favorite. lol, I like that. good job on the find. good luck getting that timing belt replaced. Hope nothing is messed up in the head.....

I must agree with you...i'm gonna assume that we are all CRX *****..or ***** if you prefer...i've owned 6 also and have 3 right now....what is it about them that we love or hate so much??!! To each his own i guess.

 

well, I'll admit I'm joking at the outset of this statement, the occurrence of it would be outright horrible, but you might have so many due to the fact that if you wreck one, it's basically a tin can and it's gone forever.

Having three of that almost ensures you'll have one in case the unthinkable happens right? right?....

LOL...and YOU are CORRECT sir!! very true...the unthinkable may happen, yet we keep going back to that tin can for another GO.
