Default Distributor sensors...any info?? CYPP TDCP CKPP

I've been looking for info on these because I want to measure ignition advance/retard. Does anyone have info on these sensors?

I'm guessing I'd have to read the TDC sensor to get the 0* mark, then probably use some ignition lead to read when it fires. The SSi-4 I have can do all the rest, but I need to know what sort of outputs the TDC/crank angle/crank positioning sensors all have.

The other method invloves using an optical sensor that reads a TDC/0* mark, then the Logworks program takes the ignition input from the SSI-4 and goes from there. I just can't find that sensor, nor will it fit anywhere.
