i have a 91' civic si with a B16a and a YS1 tranny... not to long ago my car lights and what not started dimming when i let off the gas.. so i started the car and took off the battery cable and it died.. so i changed the alternator.. after i changed it, it still died when i took off the cable.. and ever since then i've been having a lot of electrical problems.. when i plug the battery the front driverside parking light goes on and a lot of fuses blow which includes the ECU, alternator solenoid valve,stop light/horn, cooling fan adn the main fuse... i think thats just about it anyone out there ever had this problem... let me know

 

are you hooking up the battery backwards! Jesus. That is a pretty hardcore short somewhere! What is the battery voltage when running Vs. not?

 

i cant even get my car started now
