it eats up all my burned cds, had 3 of them already .. i just bought alpine speakers, guess im going to buy an alpine cd player

 

i have a 06 type s and every once in a while when i hit bumps it make my stock cd player skip really bad i dk if it normal or not but it sucks cuz then my cds as well get scratched up too

 

I have an 02 and it just recently started to not read any CD. Maybe there is something wrong with them all together? Im going to put in a touch screen pretty soon anyways.

 

I have the 05 rsx cd player and havent had a problem with it yet..

 

i haven't had a single problem with mine and all of my cds are burned.

does the base and type-s have the same stereo system?

The Type S has a full Bose system, whereas the base has a cheap system. When you changed your speakers were they 3w garbage like the EP3?

 

no problems here for the last 23 months.

So, what kind of stereo does the base Rsx have ?

 

well the stock speakers weren't loud at all / had no bass whatsoever.. the new ones are pretty nice but the cd player still sucks.

I'm definately going to find an mp3 player, hopefully alpine has a cd deck so everything will match. But yeah
