i know im in the wrong thread but rl & tl are dead!

does anyone know how much oil my 05 TL Takes, i saw somewhere on the internet 4.5Q w/ filter..

car didnt come w/ manual

or maybe post a site i can find it on thanks!

 

im sure if you buy 5 quarts and fill it till its to the full line, start it, fill the filter, then re-add to the fill line you will get your answer. its probably 4.5 quarts w/ full filter.

 

Next time you do your oil change, let it empty out COMPLETLY. leave cap off , take oil filter off and keep bolt off.

then just fill it with ALMOST 5 quarts and youl be fine

Most honda cars take like between 4 1/2 to 5

i think he was asking howmuch oil not how to change it. but personally i dont like starting the car with a filter that isnt full of oil, pour some fresh oil in the filter, then scew it on. fill it up after that. i would just call your local dealership and ask them, they should be able to tell you really quick. or just start pouting in oil till its full.

 

ya i always put oil on the seal of the filter, and poor some in there before i start her up..

ive done tons, this is my first on this car.. i was just wondering if anyone knew a definite answer ty though for the help.
