engine light question.

engine light question.
i got a question, my oil is low because the car just got back from toronto and it needs a change, it takes 5w20 , and i just added some 10w30 to just put some more oil in it until i change it this week, and my engine light came on, could that be the cause of it?

the dealer will rape him with charges tho,
id do an oil change by urself, and use only one oil. then scan the code and see where that leads you. advance auto does it for free.

Yeah because an oil change is so expensive?
Change out oil/filter, go to Advanced and have them pull the CEL code

Depends on your point of view. I'd rather take it to a shop and not have to deal with anything and have less downtime than having to do all that myself
