auto to 5 speed chassis difference questions...please help
in my searching i have come to find out that there is a difference in the chassis in as far as the trans mount location, does anyone have a D.I.Y. of where i would have to re-weld the mount if i drilled the spotwelds out and removed the mount area on the chassis...also pics of auto and 5 speed engine bays would be great so i can look at diff locations on the chassis where they are located...thank you!

Well, you would need a MT chassis bracket to weld. If I can remember correctly, the MT bracket is horizontal and the AT bracket angles up. Might as well get a mount.

Its definitely worth getting the conversion mount, nothing looks altered, everything fits perfectly, have the option to go back to auto.
