Will a catback from a 97 hatch fit on a 97 coupe with no problems??

 

i dont see why it wouldnt... only difference i know of is in the 4 doors... if the exhaust is going on a ex then it will eleminate the cat cause i beleive the cat is underneath the hood on the hatchbacks(y7 motors) and the cat on a ex is underneath the car... so if you have smog in your area you will have some issues with that...

 

i would think the hatch or coupe would just be different because of the back in the hatch look smaller ... .. not worried about not having a cat ... car is only used for track purpose's ... okay i guess ill try to see if it fits if it doesn't i can always modify it

 

sedan and coupes are interchangable... not the hatches.... they are shorter

 

The mid pipe will fit almost anything/ It's the muffler that will be an issue.
