Type R Catalyic Converter
I need some help does anyone have a picture of the bolt orientation for a 98 type r?
I recently purchased a set of header for my car but the bolt holes do not line up with the catalyic converter. I am trying to find out if I have a different cat on my car. Here are some pics of the cat on my car right now.
Please help. Thanks

What kind of header?
LOL dood, you're missing your heat shield. Kinda dangerous. If you stop over anything flamable you'll start a fire. Don't park it on dry grass.

So I take it you have an OEM JDM header and you want to bolt it to a USDM ITR cat. on your Type R? If so, the flange is diagonal but at a different angle. It doesn't matter tho, the flanges are different diameters and you will have to cut the flange off the cat inlet, buy the proper size flange, have the inlet enlarged to accept the new flange, have it welded on to match the angle of the header. To finish, the gap between flanges will be thicker and you will need bolts with longer threads to get the nuts started. You will also need a new donut gasket and new self locking nuts. The nuts are one use only, and the longer bolts and donut gasket you can get from Honda dealership. They go on an S2000 and are just what you need.

Sorry, I remembered that you ordered a JDM 4-1 header in this thread and though that was why you are having problems bolting it to your USDM cat:
