Default minie me timing

Ok I have a d15b2 block and a z6 head it runs but not well I think it is the timing I have the timing set like this ! ! ! ! I have the pointer on the 1 line and the cam set with the "up" up and the side marks line up is this correct.

Or should I set the pointer on the timing cover in the middle of the 3 lines?

Sounds like you had it correct the first time. Quick question, are you using a stock cam gear or an adjustable cam gear?

Im using a stock cam gear. I had one on my last minie me and it was pointless. I never went and had it tuned. This is just a put together motor until my d1b gets here

Check the FAQ, I think you might have to use a newer cam gear to compensate for being off if you don't use an adj. cam gear.

24TEN is correct. You need to use the Y7/Y8 cam gear to correct for the 4.75 degrees or half-tooth. Did this on ours and never had the "timing" issue. Good luck! D15 mini-me's rock!
