h22 wont run need help!!
Whats up guys heres my deal. I have a 94 accord with an h swap. my first swap spun a bearing so i put in a new motor. Now my problem is it wont start. It has spark and fuel all the ground straps are conected the dizzy is on correct and it has new plugs and wires. I have a full charge on my battery and ive tried both my chiped p28 and stock p13 ecus with no luck. This isnt my first swap and i do know what i am doing so i am out of ideas if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks
Do you have injector pulse? Maybe the distributor is off sync, have you checked the spark v. belt timing with an inductive timing light?
i know with the h22 almost every year/model h had diffrent injectors so i used the ones that came with my new motor. as far as your question i have not used a timing light because i cant get the car to run so the kight dose me no good
If it sat for any length of time I'd swap the injector rail if you have a spare. Also loosen the dizzy and turn it through as far as the adjustments will let it as you turn it over. Use a test light on the injectors while turning it over to see if you have injector pulse.
i have a some what new(off of my old swap) aem rail and i do have proper injector pulse. the plugs are soaked everytime i pull them and even after i unpluge the fuel pump relay and clean out the cylinders the plugs just become soaked again. it is very cold where im located and and that may be part of the issue but ive tried that atleast 10 times so im not sure what it could be.
ive also had a few knowledgeable friends take a look at it including the owner of a local performance shop and everyone is stumped. do you think it could be internal? the idea of a few bent/burnt valves has been thrown around but the motor has compression and holds it so im not leaning that direction

It's always possible. How did you determine that you have compression if you can't get the engine to run? Could be a snapped rod has the engine seized up.
