what I ment was size, the rms input for the subs. they come in 10 and 12 sizes.

Kicker S12L7s are 750W subs with 2 of them you will need at least 1500W RMS to drive them properly.

Wired parallel/parallel for a 1 ohm load, the amp you have will drive them, however I would take the 1x1600W RMS into 1 ohm with a grain of salt, even at 14.5V, under normal driving your alt. will make about 13.5V and I have no idea what the amps output is at 13.5V.

The other issue is SQ, at 4 ohms, 1x550W it's not that bad a sounding amp, not great, but for sub bass it works, but at 1 ohm, [1x1600W] IMO, is sounds like crap.

IMO you are going to burn the VCs in the L7s within a few weeks if you "crank" the system, [push the amp to it's limit]. 94

Actually according to my pals @ maxxsonics that amp will do its rated power @13.8volts. Its actually a very good choice for those subs.

I guess it must be more efficient then other MOSFET amps to be able to make 1x1600W RMS with only two 80A fuses in it.

I do not trust specs that do not tell the whole story, nowhere on their site does it say at what voltage the 1600W is at, at what frequencies and what the THD is at the rated watts.

I wonder why they do not supply that info? 94
