Default who is using manley valvetrain?

i see a lot of their rod usage, but not much valvetrain. looks like solid stuff by the specs:

high perf race springs
max lift: .530"
pressures: 82 @ 1.350" 206 @ 0.950"
coil bind: .765"

anyone with first hand experience? and which cams?

The last time Brad sent us rota's D16Z6 head he sent it with Manley valves. They fine. Manly has been around longer then you have. I think sometimes people make to much out of, you have to run brand A because everything else sucks. Most of the pieces have been around for a long time. If the company made crap, they'd be out of business. As long as you chose name brand stuff you'll be fine.

We have used Manley valvetrain kits in the last few shop cars. So basically the springs, retainers, valves and locks. We have used them with ITR cams, Skunk2 stage 1 and 2 cams as well as Pro 1 and Pro 2 camshafts all on turbo applications. Manley stuff is quality, and we have never had a single issue with the valvetrain or rods. The only thing that we havent tried is the pistons, which not many people seem to have much feedback on.

I would have been back sooner but I've been over on one of the skiing forums.

As boosted hybrid said, Manley is good stuff. Must be that name brand stuff I was talking about.

Well I also had to snake the bathroom sink drain, if you really wanted to know. Or is that to much info ?

We use Ferrea on most of our cylinder heads..but for everything else we prefer to use Manley..only if cost is the object. Quality is always there. I know a lot of different companies sell the Manley kit without there valve lock. BIG NO NO!!

I used manley everything in my head all of 04 then in 05 I tried to put a big cam in it and it binded. Dont know if its the same but the turbo springs used in my head where only good for .480 and I was trying to use .500+ cam.
besides that never had a problem with there stuff

Yeah i've been using them for 3 years now with the skunk 2 pro seris stage 1 cams no problems what so ever! Skunk 2 actually recomends that u use their valve train but i had already put them in.
