WTF are IABs????
So yea what is a IAB?? I searched and nothing came up actually explaining what they are? Does a d16z6 have them? Im guessing they are the secondary butterfly valves that engines like the b18c1 have and ****??

Internal butterfly valves in the GSR intake manifold that open at <U>5600</U> rpm. Make for great midrange flow characteristics. A 91-96 Escort GT 1.8L has them also.
No the z6 doesn't have them.

I'm pretty sure that is the RPM when VTEC engauges, the butterflys open at 5500 I think. I'm not 100% on when they open, but I know it's well after 4800.

haha whoops. You're right, I switched vtec and IABs around, and was off by 400 rpm. lol
But oh well, it's 4:45 am - I need sleep & dyslexia doesn't help either.
