Default ls/vtec what head?

If i'm building an ls/vtec wich head is better to use? B16 or a GSR head. And Why? I have an ls block with CTR pistons i got it for cheap, and im getting offers for both a 00 civic si head and a GSR. Thanx

im sorry but i wasnt flaming you to bad.. just research is all im trying to say before you ask questions like this.. people will do worse than what i just said.. sorry but still man... okay "they say b16s flow better", they also say" gsrs have better combustion chambers", but they also say "b16 heads are just plain better than GSR heads".. if your going to port and polish and build it up then it doesnt really matter which one you go with.. but if your keeping it stock then its up to you entirely.. i personally have rocket motorsports valvtrain and m22x cams, ported and polished GSR.. but im also using a high compression piston'd b20 bottom end and the 1.8 combustion chamber from GSR is larger for the 2.0 block instead of 1.6 b16.. so theres my imput.. okay hope that helps!

im in the process of building a ls/v right now, im starting from scratch with a clean 94 ls block and a complete but blown up 94 ls motor. I was told for all motor gsr would be better in the long run so im trying to find one right now, where at in cali you live?

with CTR pistons and a GSR head you will have very high compression. it will be pretty difficult to run on pump gas due to the combustion chamber design on the GSR head. the B16 head will be lower compression. If anything please get this tuned.

a set of cams will bleed off some of the compression. I'd personally go with the B16 head for a daily driver on pump gas. and make sure to get it tuned or i can guarantee it will be blown up quickly.
