Default porting tools

Hey guys, just looking for a bit of advice on porting. I am replacing the head gasket and stem seals on a friends d14a 97 civic (as its burning near enough a litre of oil a day!) and was thinking to try porting and polishing the head while we have it off. I have a dremel but not sure what bits to use on the head and where to get them from? any help would be much appreciated

thanks for the replies and i am trying to get my hands on an old head to try out first before starting to his car. I have also searched as i always do first but i cant find any posts advising on what bits to use apart from a mention of carbide cutter. I was basically wondering if anyone knows if there are any good bits i can get from dremel and if not where else can i get them?

I would doubt Dremel makes cutters for porting, since no professional porters use them I don't see any real demand for them. All the cutters porters use are 1/4' shank not 1/8'.

I know I'm going to sound like a dick here but it always amazes me how everybody thinks they can port because they have seen pics of professionally done heads and see what a finished port looks like.I mean does looking at a pic of an assembled engine make you think you can build an engine without any other knowledge?

Yes I know I'm an ******* for that statement
