Default anyone goin to take a shot at da question. please..

ill narrow it down den. im drivin towards da mountain today. da elevation was at 4000 ft.+ as i asscend upwards i get stuck in traffic. for about 20 to 30 mins. i stayed on 2nd gear a couple of times den afterwards traffic just stop and we move about every 10 sec. from dere im on 1st gear for the longest duration of time. when i started to move up a lil i feel da clutch was actin strange like it didnt want to respond to da proper rmps. wat im sayn is. when im on first da car didnt want to jerk it just went and da rpm sky rocketed. from dere. i went downhill den da gears came back. weird ****. if u guys can, please help me out im stuck i think its da clutch maybe, but it seems ok now sorry for da long paragraph.

Let the clutch plate cool off, sounds like you overheated it.

So you stayed there for a while with the clutch pushed in? Why not put it in neutral?

If you were riding the clutch uphill in traffic you could have easily overheated the clutch. It happened to me in San Francisco traffic, up and down hill streets ftw

If the clutch is running fine now you should be okay once it cools off, as long the plate didn't get worn you should be alright, but if you can get a free inspection from a tech that you know and trust, then by all means go ahead. Good luck and God Bless
