After playing with the oxygen sensor/heat shield...my engine idles rough as hell!! What can it be?
i an going to take it to my man at the dealer and have them put it on the diagnostic machine...a new o sensor aint nothing....i doubt its anything else.
are you having problems with the o2 sensor or the iacv? correct me if i'm wrong, aren't those 2 different parts with 2 different functions?

an iacv= idle air control valve, controls and reads the flow of your idle. usually located on the throttle body.
an O2 sensor= controls/ reads the flow of wasted gases as it exits on the exhaust manifold.
please correct me if i'm wrong. that's about it for me.
dan_knee: where are u from around milpitas? i'm from around the berryesa and milpitas border. hope 2 be home soon.

never touched the iacv on the tb. Just tried to remove the heat shield on e manifold and didnt have the right wrench!....then i fooled with the o sensor thinking that it would just TWIST off ....what an idiot! Now its idling at 450 instead of like 750....stalled once already!
