Couldn't find it and too lazy.....Painting Side skirts....what paint?
I want to paint the side skits to roughly match my car.....what kind of paint would be best to use to avoid cracking?
depends on what color your car is. If its a white then u can be pretty safe with picking an expoxy based white paint. If its any other color, ur best bet is to get color-matched paint, and make sure you prep REALLY good.
But get soemthing that is epoxy based?
That is my question, what type of paint works best for side skirts?

i take it ur car is not white? U are not going to find a color-match epoxy based paint. Just make sure u sand down the area, and prep it REALLY good. Then go to walmart and get some DUPLI-COLOR paint that matches your paint code. Be sure to get a couple cans of the DUPLI-COLOR clear coat to. If you try and use two different brands of paint and clear, they may react to one another and create a crappy mess of a paint job.
Also, dont sand like a mad man or use power/air sanders, other wise u end up heating up the material the skirts are made from, and it gets all messy.
