My vote goes with the GC/Tokico setup as well, and I also agree that Koni's might be a little more ideal.
Tein coilovers kick ***, and I would recommend the Monoflex over almost anything out there. But on a budget, the GC's have never failed me. I've owned three sets on different Hondas.

Cmon. Give out some reasoning. Dont just type TEIN!
Why?
OP: I can say from personal experience that low level teins suck. I used to have flexes. GC/Konis cost like $1kish. Coilovers that offer that kind of quality and flexibility cost way more $$$$$$$$$. The problem you get with MOST coilovers that cost a lot of $$$$ is that they're either very race oriented or very comfort oriented. There's very little good middle ground, or flexibility available.

I also am running GC with Koni yellows. 380lbs in the rear and 340lbs in the front. I want something stiffer in the rear which is only 100 bucks away for brand new springs with custom rates.

Which teins do you have? I had the flex, and I hated them. I noticed that they were overly bouncy and didn't think too much of it. Then I noticed a LOT of people saying the same **** about the lower levels of tein. That was all a long time ago. I've since ridden in really nice setups. I guess you're blind till you can see, man. If Tein is the only thing you've known..or you've come from a line of ebay suspensions from which Tein is a step up, you think that Tein is the ****.
I just dont like the lower level Teins. Flexes included. But hey, if you like them, and they're working for you, then that's great.
P.S. as far as coilovers are concerned, the flex is probably a BETTER option for the cheap coilovers. They're probably better than Megans or K sports or Omnis or whatever. Flexes really aren't that expensive.

Well I've personally used the tein super street and the tein type flex and compared to GC/Omni/Skunk2 i would def go with the tein has a smooth feeling a little harsh over bumps but great overall in my opinion

Alrite, I dont have to argue. I said thats what I preferred, you dont have to agree.

I also had the flex, and wasn't really impressed. don't get me wrong, they are ok, but for the price and the hype, I was expecting more I guess. the spring rates are pretty wack for a FF if you do any type of HPDE or road course driving (understeer like mad). They were a little bouncy, so I had to turn up the damper adjustments, which stopped the bouncyness, but then they road really harsh.
ended up replacing the tiens with a custom valved koni setup with GCs and it's night and day - much better ride, even with stiffer springs. If you are dead set the type adjustable body coilover (like the flex/jic/k-sport, etc), I'd at least check out PICs, as they have more options to choose from as far as spring rates and dampers go.
My street car has H&R OE springs with standard koni yellows, and its firm without being too harsh (rates are about 280/190. I actually like this setup better than coilovers (for a street car). but I don't like my street car to be that low, so YMMV.
