Well I installed an Oil Pressure Gauge where the stock oil pressure switch normally goes. The car has the balance shaft removal kit and a Mobile 1 filter on it. Im making around 80 psi on cold start and then after complete warm up i believe im around 25-30 psi. However im making around 80-90 psi at around 5-6k rpms.

I know im getting enough oil pressure however is there a point where oil pressure becomes too much or where having too much oil pressure has any downfall ? From what i understand more oil pressure lessens the changes of spinning bearings and better lubrication but other than that is there any other advantages/disadvantages ?
