need help from lude guys for my hatch
swapped h22a4 in my 96 hatch. want to use p13 from 97 lude. i want to use my stock ex harness and it dont use the egr sensor that is located on the end of the intake manifold. if i dont run wires to this will it run like crap and will i get a check engine light. not really worried about the CEL, just want this thing to run right. also can i use obd1 distributor on a h22a4 with obd2 ecu,any help is really appreciated
1. There are o P13 from 97 preludes, unless it has been swapped from an OBD 1 car or has a 96 OBD2 Ecu.
So using an OBD 2 ECU on an OBD1 Engine wont work out to well. There are more sensors and crap needed to run that ECU.
If it really is an OBD 1 ecu it will work.
2. The EGR. It is a system that has a few componets that can be deleted. It will run fine, just might wear on the motor a bit harder than normal.
You can use a block off plate to delete the EGR vavle. You also need to get rid of the EGR solenoid and change the vaccum lines around. Its really easy.
As for throwing codes, well you might. I have my EGR blocked off. And as of right now Im not throwing any codes.
Click on my Axid Works in my sig. Then scroll down to the EGR thread and click it. There is pics in that thread of what to delete and other helpful info there as well.

what extra sensors are needed, and the motor is obd2, its a h22a4! the only obd1 partr is the dizzy with internal coil, and yes as for the egr sensor i have the block off plate you say i can use.so to run the obd2 p13 what all do i need extra. and do u know if any pins at the ecu need to be relocated for a civic harness, thanks for any help
Now that I think about it, if you have an OBD2 ECU and OBD2 H22a, than you will probally need an OBD 2 wireharness. All your sensors should already be on the motor.
The only thing you are probally going to have to do is make your own wire harness. Thats going to be a real long task.

i already made one, the only thing that confuses me is that on obd2 civics at pin c1 is for the ckf sensor and the lude its ref. volts, the pin c4 is cyp sensor and the lude is ckp detect., a25 is ref volts and lude is intake control, c11 ckf sensor and lude has none going to it also c19,c23, c24 and c25 has none, and at d13 for the secondary o2 the lude has nothing. any idea how to fix all this

so just depin all ecu point and repin where the lude diagram says it goes. that will work. can i repin with obd1 plugs and run obd1 p13. would that work. obd2 is still a lil blurry in my mind. i have done a ton of swaps with obd1.
Try not to think about it to hard. Its like connect the dots.
COnnect each OBD 1 wire from the ecu to the where it goes on the motor. You might as well do a wire tuck since you will probally be making your own harness.
