Yes, it's been done a billion times and there's tons of documentation on it. Check the Prelude FAQs at the top of the page.

Change anything related to the swap? No, it's just a different valvetrain....

You will probally need a tuning system in one form or another with the Vtec head and up graded valve train.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Biggz105 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so i wouldent have to change anything, or replace anything with that if the rest of the motor is stock?</TD></TR></TABLE>

lmAo.

Depends how skilled you are. H22 head swap and you need a tuning system, a dyno, and a h22 head.

A full motor swap you need a full H22 and a new ecu. Not to mention all the bells, dings, and whistles that do with a new swap.

The awnser you want to hear is ''No you dont need anything else, its a piece of cake''

The real awnser is ''You need to search more about the topic, its more than just slapping a Vtech head on and go. There are a lot of varaibles you need to look up''

yeah, i just want to know what i need basic parts wise. but detailed, like do i need to get a special gasket for the h22 goin on the h23. i just want to go ahead and get the parts i need. and for that head with the skunk2 spring retainers and street springs, i may not even do that. its just an idea.

dude.. do your research
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=510617

takes a lot more than just a head and a dyno.. you need a p13 to run vtec. you need a h22 intake manifold. you need an h22 crank gear, you need a h22 water pump, ETC ETC ETC. No, it does not NEED to be tuned if you have stock internals and are using a p13. It will make more power if it is tuned, like any car, but it is not absolutely necessary.

like i said before, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=510617
has a list of EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO THE SWAP. If you can't read that thread, you can't do your head swap.

the skunk2 springs and retainers will be fine as long as the cams are stock. If the cams aren't stock, you will NEED to get it tuned on a dyno
