Default Honda heads: why won't this work??

I keep reading over and over that the h23 head is exactly the same as the dohc f22b head. I also read over and over that you can't swap heads between f and h series. I the h23 head is the same as the one on the f22b and the h22 head can go on a h23 block, then why can't the h22 head go on an f22B?

Ask this in the prelude forum, but i believe they've already done it.

HT is full of how possible it is to make a f & h motor. Hell I have one in my EG.

Ok so its not as simple as swapping the heads between motors of the same series but its not any more difficult. Thanks. That was a very informative link!

Now I feel stupid for gettng rid of my old f22 block when I did my swap. I've still got alot to learn!
