Default 2000 Civic SI Tranny Question

Ok so I just bought a 00 Si completely stock and I have a quick question about the tranny gearing. My gears seem to be really short and I was wondering if thats normal or did the guy I bought it from shorten them. When im on the freeway and cruising at 80mph Im at like 4-4.5 grand. Is that normal??

Yes the gears are short, making effective use of power at higher RPMs. 4 grand is normal for 80mph. My Ex tranny did that.
