Default '99 Civic LX keyless entry???

My LX has power everything, CD changer etc. However, when I bought it it didn't come with a key-fob. I didn't think anything of it until my friend with a 98 EX told me that it probably had keyless entry.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Sorry, not sure if a USDM LX has key-less or not, if it does the key-less module is behind the drivers kick panel and it is white in color, remove the kick panel and if you have a white module back there, you have key-less, no white module, you do not have key-less. 94

Yes, all you need is the remote and you can program it. It's in the factory head unit, so if you have an aftermarket stereo, you can't.

You're an idiot.

'96-'98 Civics have the keyless built into the radio. Not '99s as the OP has.

Get an aftermaket system. Keyless entry systems run about $160 for a DEI model with a single immobilizer circuit installed. A basic alarm would be about $100 more.

Did you check behind the kick panel trim to see if there was a key-less module? 94

I'm pretty sure the places that I linked all send programing instructions along with the new remote, maybe not all the eBay ones. 94

Oh yeah, I forgot you had a 99 Patrick and I didn't really read the title. Oops. they're right, 99-00's don't have it in the head unit.
