Default keyless entry

I recently bought a used 99 civic ex. I didn't come with the keyless entry fobs and I was wondering if any keyless fob for a 99 civic i can buy on ebay will work. thanks for the info.

ex's from the factory had keyless entries built into their cd players, weird eh, they're a bitch, anyway, just buy an aftermarket one from a car stereo place and get them to install it, dont try it yourself

i agree with that, if someone replaced the deck and didnt do it right the factory keyless wouldnt work anyway.just buy a aftermarket one

you would have to have it programmed. i dont know how to do it to a factory unit but a dealer should

actually they didn't have it in 99, it ended in 1998. it was only 1996-1998.

Check out http://www.handa-accessories.com , they carry the keyless entry fob for the '99 Civic dx and lx. Ask them about the ex fob.

I would be cheaper to buy an aftermarket one ... if u need one let me know, I can take care of you, I have been installing for about 7 years now. Peace.

no no no bro, dont get factory honda, get after market, much better results, i think you're right about the keyless thing ending in 99 though, i'm a bit sketchy
