no...all you can do is add chrome lining to the wheel wells and door jambs, maybe even the hood...that would really set it off...que?

jk....you should be able to, but i will offer no real input because i have never done this

I don't see why you couldn't paint it.

also, mine discolored on the drivers side in the back at the same spot as yours. I hate how it looks.

Mine is like that too. You can either tape it up with electric tape, black vinyl it, paint, or buy the JDM trim which is black. I have one for sale if you need it.

Sell it and buy a 1995 sedan, no chrome trim there.

there is no problem painting it. if your worried about it you can purchase special paint but regular paint will work just fine. just make sure its a clean surface before you paint. your lucky i have 6 years of painting experience

Rough up the crome with some sand paper first, though, before you paint. I did this and it worked great. I power washed the car last week and chipped a lot of it away without even noticing it. I don't think I put enough coats on. I'm going to have to re-do it sometime soon.

you power washed it and it came off because it wasnt clean enough. you need to use wax and grease remover. on top of that 3 light coats of color and 3 light coats of either clear or flat clear depending on your taste will do the trick. good luck
