I was trying to remove my shift linkage because it needed to get replace, But i couldn't take it off from the tranny. It's the one that has the pin, which i did remove but when i pull on it. It just went into gear and i notice that it was rusted because it didn't have the boot on it so i spread some DW40 and it didn't work. What are some other ways i can do in order to remove it??? Heat it?? or what else

PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench work better than WD-bitch. just soak everything with it and give some muscle with it.

I say use some heat from a small torch. Don't get too heavy with the pimp hand, you don't want to bend anything.
