now i made 159.19 hp to the wheels all motor, tuned and
208.55 hp wit nitrous, 49.36hp gain on"75 shot? " what happend to the 75 hp? at least 60 extra , tuned with the bigger injectors,,or do i have the wrong jet size? the way it was tuned i run 2 chips, 1 chip all motor and when useing nitrous i switch the chip, , the car feels mean alright but i would like the extra gain on the nos ,

Nos is kinda silly. Also it sounds like you have a pretty stock engine. what is the head like. Is the head "un-built"? get some good cams and tune again! By the way underpullies are a waste too and mess up your alternator and charging capabilities.

160 whp sounds low for a gsr, i guess not. You need to build it up some more.

My d-series builds have to be really built in the head in order to make a difference. Im sure its that way with most engines.

How is this forced induction?

check out the sig

i made 84whp from a 75 shot.

ITR cams, Full Crower Valvetrain, ITR intake manifold, Edelbrock header, RC 440cc injectors, NX Dry Shot all tuned by Erick on Hondata S300.

Nitrous is...

BTW, this was all done with a catalytic converter, restrictive 2.25" crush bent exhaust to a stock style muffler. MAD NOZZ FTW!!!

160WHP from a USDM GSR is not at all bad. Remember that this motor only puts out 170HP to the crank stock. So this is not at all bad from a motor that just has bolt-ons. As for power when spraying, I can't really comment.

nitrous "hp shot" are not always exactly 75hp.

for instance, lower bottle pressure will mean less nitrous oxide and less atomization.

the same equates for your fuel injectors.

here are my calculations based off of 900 psi bottle pressure on a dry kit:

.022 - 18.70whp - 22hp
.026 - 26.31whp - 31hp
.030 - 34.85whp - 41hp
.035 - 46.75whp - 55hp
.039 - 58.65whp - 69hp
.041 - 64.60whp - 76hp
.046 - 81.60whp - 96hp
.076 - 221.85whp - 261hp
.086 - 283.90whp - 334hp

so, your .038 jet should really equal 55.25whp- 65hp (jet) 49.36hp gain is pretty close to what you can expect. what sort of plugs are you running and what is your timing at?

just remember to keep the bottle pressure (temperature) up.

900-1000 psi bottle pressure is optimum. do you heat you bottle before runs?

some people use a bottle warmer, others hit it with a torch, i used to drop the tank into a bucket of hot water for about 2 minutes before i head to the track.

bottle warmers and pressure gauges are a nitrous users best friend.
