I need to know what size of piping and what kind to use.....if you guys can help me out, that would be great.....thanx.....

that search function can be awful handy if you know how to use it. what engine and what turbo? i usually use 304ss schedule 10 1.5" pipe, but id depends on the application.

i hear 316 is the way to go. thats what i read in Burns Stainless new catalog.

I don't know about tubular applications but for pipe size material 316 is a waste of money, IMO. The alloy is much better for corrosive resistance (boat exhausts - salt water, chemical applications, etc) but I see no need to spend the extra money for material that won't benefit the application.

Disclaimer: This is from a supplier's standpoint and not a fabricator's.
