ok so i have been reading and it seems that it would proably be easier too do all the body work and shoot it with nasons SS paint.. but the problem is i have a gun but no air comperssor.. could i use a portable one? or should i just go buy one?

1)easy is not a word to describe paint process, it's alot of work and never easy
2)nason paint are fine, or omni
3)isn't that for you to decide? how big is your portable, saying portable doesn't really answer anything.
the min spec for car paint: 60 gallon 240v single(or best dual stage) 5hp which will round you about 40psi with 12-14CFM
anything smaller will be one all the time, and don't even plan to use a DA with a tiny compressor
