Default ecu precautions before removing

I have a performance chip i want to install in my 93 prelude Si

is there anything i have to watch out for or anything that can damage my ecu while doing this install

You can fry your ECU quite easily if you aren't experienced in electronics work. Also, chips are garbage. Get a p28 and a real tune.

unhook the negative terminal on the battery when dealing with electronics. Trust me. I'm slapping myself right now because of it.

agreed on the "chip". They are a waste and im sorry you bought into it.

Why it has to be P28? Why not P72 or Vtec converted PO5-6?
But yeah I agree If you wanna get some juice out of it without damage tune it with Hondata, Crome ect.

Don't bother with that chip. I would love to see dyno's proving those chips hp gains.

And suprisingly (NOT) there are no dyno's... so what does that say?
