Where is the best place to buy the comptech ice box? Should I buy the short ram intake part; or just the ice box and filter??

 

The Type R intake hose is pretty good as it is, 3" opening tapering down to 2.75" at the TB. I just got the filter and box.

Whats the average going price fro just the box and filter?

 

I saw a dyno of a stock ITR where the resonator box had been removed and it lost 2 whp. So if you just add the filter and ice-box, what part are you *not* getting? Wouldn't you just be getting the tube from the filter box to the fender area and the filter that goes in the stock box? Or you hook the ITR hose to a comptech box/tube?

help me out here cause I thought making a jimmy-rigged ice-box would be easy but I thought it was odd the dyno showed whp loss from just removing the resonator.
