Quick question regarding a concern I have.... I'm purchasing a nitrous kit that'll give me a 50 shot. I won't be ricing around spraying the **** constantly, but will this be okay on stock internals?
I hear of guys running them just fine, but I just wanted to be sure... its a wet shot FYI.
Thanks

Read the info in the thread.... it says a 50 shot basically just need colder plugs, but it doesn't specify whether or not this is a wet or dry shot.
Does it matter?

You can just throw a 50 shot on and go! Nothing else is really needed but 1 step colder plugs is a nice option. I always suggest a Dyno pass to make sure your air/fuel is solid but from there.....have fun! I would also suggest doing a compression test to see if your stock engine is up for the task
Wet is the only way to go IMO whether it be just a single fogger or direct port.
BTW: I am running a 100 shot on stock internals!

As always, my NITROUS disclaimer: Nitrous is fun but it can ruin your engine. If you don't have the money/resources to replace/rebuild a motor, you have no business playing with the Giggle Gas!
This is what I did to my 1st motor!
Product of an 80 shot and hitting fuel cutoff, needless to say I learned alot after this $2000 mistake.($1100 JDM H22+parts+labor)

50 shot your safe. I ran 100 shot for 3 years on stock internals then got Greddy turbo after on the same motor, dyno'd @ 280 whp w greddy @ 10 psi. Same power with my nitrous set up. I still love the juice and still running with it with my other toys. Just gotta know your nitrous pill set up.

Hmmm....280whp from Nitrous to 280whp from Turbo....That must have sucked!
When I raced my friends Turbo Prelude with my 100 shot he was nowhere to be found by 2nd gear....LAG FTL!
500hp Club eh?

Newb question, but I often hear that the number of "shot" of nitrous equates to the number of hp one will be getting with the extra O2 in the manifold? How true is that?
