nope, it will run. But i tihnk you may get a cel with the p28 since it wouldnt be able to reach the vtec solenoid and such.

Yep, it'll run just fine. If you have the stock ECU you can run that too, then it'll just act like it's the stock non-vtec motor. If you're downgrading to OBD1 keep in mind you'll need the distributor as well, and you'll only need the 1 o2 sensor.

You will only need to replace your dizzy if you are using an OBD1 ENGINE wiring harness.

If you are using an OBD1 ENGINE wiring harness yes, you will need a OBD1 Distributor, Namely one from a 1992-1995 Civic CX/DX/LX with a D15B7 or D15B8 motor, DO NOT PURCHASE A 1992-1995 EX or SI Dizzy, those are for the D16Z6 motor and will not line up to your Y8 head, I personally have a Y8 head on my car running a B8 Dizzy and it runs fine assuming you are using an OBD1 Wiring harness. If you are using an OBD2 Wiring harness that cam with the Y8 motor, Just plug everything in where it belongs, do not replace the dizzy, if your car will not start, remove your dizzy, spin it 180*, and try again, if still no start, you may need to get your P28 chipped for your Y8 *Which you should do anyways because the Y8 fuel maps are diffrent than a Z6*.

as far as the O2 goes
You can just use the O2 infront of the cat (assuming it is a 4 wire O2 and plugs into your wiring harness), and just clip the wires of the other one and leave it in there.
